Librarians have a clear role on a systematic review team as expert searchers, and due to training or experience, they often are looked to as evidence synthesis methods experts. As such, it is important to have a solid grasp of both the broad steps of evidence synthesis projects from beginning to end and what parts and to what extent librarians can be involved in the process.
