Orientation to the Health Sciences Library

Can't find an article in our CHSU library collections? We can borrow it from another library! Send an email to library@chsu.edu or request the article directly through our Discovery platform hosted by TDNet (see steps below).

ILL Procedures

• 1-3 business days to process
• Provide as much information about the article as possible including:

  • PMID

  • Article Title:

  • Author(s)

  • Journal Title

  • Year, volume, issue, pages

  • Date needed

1. Search for a topic or specific article using the embedded search box on the library homepage or direct link to the discovery platform. Click on the button underneath the article that says "request from library."

2. You will be taken to a page with more information about the article. Click on the text that says "Click here to request ILL."

3. Login using your CHSU email and password

4. Your name and email are automatically populated into the request form. Add the date by which you need the article, then click "Send." You will receive an email in approximately 1-3 business days, although sometimes the process takes longer.
